Our Community, Our Neighborhood, Our Town
On Thursday, October 27, 2016, the Aberdeen Economic Business Council held their 2nd annual dinner to celebrate the advisory board’s accomplishments. The Council was launched for the purpose of collaborating with Aberdeen’s Mayor, Township Council and Administration to maintain a positive relationship between the town’s government and business.
Since the Council’s inception, it has made significant strides in advancing the business community by developing job fairs, implementing new business related ordinances, coordinating grand opening ceremonies and more. It has also been instrumental in growing Aberdeen Day into an annual town wide event.
The evening was opened by Carmine Visone, council chairman and owner/operator of Home Away From Home Academy. The evening was highlighted by guest speakers New Jersey State Senator, Joseph M Kyrillos, Jr., Monmouth County Freeholder Director, Tom Arnone, and Township of Aberdeen Mayor, Fred Tagliarini. Held at Addison Park, the evening was both informative and enjoyable.
Looking forward, the goal of the council is to continue providing service and communication for Aberdeen’s business community. The council publishes a quarterly newsletter with information important to local businesses. For more information on the Township of Aberdeen or the Council, please visit www.aberdeennj.org
